REVIEW: 4U2 Dream Girl Jelly Babies Lip Balm

If there's one thing that really over-numbers in my stash, it would be my lip products. I use one for a couple of days then I jump to another one. I know I should be giving each item a time to work on their effects but I just can't resist to buy a different lip confection and try them on.

Moving on, I will be reviewing 4U2's Dream Girl Jelly Babies Lip Balm in Number 1. As you all know, I tend to have dry and super pale lips so I'm more on the pop of color than the glossy ones.

What it says at the back of the pot:  "Fabulous fruity formulation to moisturize and protect your lips. Soothing. Be a dreamGirl!"

My IG photo back then.
Here's an indecent picture of mine that I accidentally dropped so all the product had scattered around.

PRO's:
-- Has a nice shade that is available in two colors.
-- Can be worn alone because it leaves a nice hint of pink to dark pink.
-- Buildable color. You can put more for a brighter color.
-- Adds a dash of shine on your lips. (Can be a CON for some of you girls but it really gives a VISIBLE smooth effect on the lips.)
-- Moisturizing and not sticky.
-- Fruity taste. Mine is in strawberry.
-- Comes in cute pink packaging.
-- Very affordable at P94 each pot.
-- Easy to find. Available in most SM department stores and Watson's.

CON's:
-- You have to pat the product from the pot. It can be messy just by applying this.
-- Surely your lips will look like its wet.
-- Not long lasting.
-- Feels thin on the lips. (Can be a PRO for some.)

If you don't want to look like Britney Spears, you can dab your lips after application. The color stays on but the shine will subside. Maybe it will be more convenient if it comes in a tube for easier swiping directly on the lips or on a tube with a wand. In my opinion, this product could pass off more as a lip gloss than a lip balm.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

What are your favorite lip products? Let me know! ;)

  2. OMG. I am addicted to lip products as well. Especially lipsticks. Maybe lip balms as well but I always misplace my lip balm. :(

    1. Put in on a sturdy area where you can see it instantly or put it beside your face-routine products! :) When going outside, keep it in your bag's pocket!

    1. Aside from this, you can also try Maybelline's Baby Lips lip balm or Human Nature's lipbalm.

  4. So curious about 4U2 products. Might just check their counters when I visit the mall. Btw, I am addicted to exfoliating my lips & applying GoNaturals' Lip Sugar Scrub before I go to bed. Thanks for sharing!
