It's been a while since I got this together with the moisturizer that I will be reviewing in a separate post. These were gifted but all my thoughts are genuine.
🔺WHAT IT IS: A gentle antioxidant rich cleanser that removes excess skin oil and problem causing bacteria. Soothing combination of vitamin B5, green tea and aloe vera instantly refines skin texture and heal the skin, while 0.5% salicylic acid gently removes dead skin and prevents breakout without irritation.
• 🔺#ISABELSAYS: It's a light orange liquid contained in a sturdy plastic pump-type bottle. Less than halfway in, I still don't have any problems with the pump -- it still distributes an ample amount and doesn't spill. It's a bit large though, so I bring a different cleanser when I travel. One pump is enough for the whole face and I smell a faint unbothering scent to it. I massage the lightweight foam and leave it on my face for a minute before rinsing.
• 🔺IMPRESSIONS: The first month has been such a smooth phase. Soon after, my skin stopped responding to it and I'm back with my previous skin condition. It no longer seem to work as much as it once did. So I switched up my cleanser for some time, returned to Skin B5 and it began to work again.
Answering their claims:
✔️ Removes excess oil, soothes troubled skin, non-drying, prevents breakout, refines skin texture, removes light makeup.
✖️ Tightens and unclogs pores (It may have unclogged my pores since it prevented new pimples from forming and healed the old ones, but I still have a lot of blackheads on my nose area). I still use my regular scrubs for exfoliating.
To simplify, IT WORKS; though I switch up my cleanser every now and then depending on my skin's state. It's an almost stellar product and I recommend it to everyone suffering from acne. Surely there will be great results! ✨
