Hit or Miss: Colourette Cosmetics Colourtint Intense Blend Lip and Cheek Oil

If I can live with only one makeup product, I'd choose tints as I have pale lips with dark outlines. Ugh. 😩 Seeing the hype all over social media, I gave in and purchased two colourtints.

It's in a glass bottle with an applicator that reminds me of nail polish. It doesn't indicate in the bottle if it's matte or fresh, so I just rely on the box. Not really an issue though because I only have two, so it's not as confusing if you have a bunch of these. Shades meanwhile, are indicated at the the bottom.

In my opinion, there's no difference between the two with regards to consistency and finish -- they're watery and dries to soft matte, except for the glow that still peeks through when used on the cheeks.

✨ Lightweight and smells sweet
✨ Buildable and blendable - (fresh) using three dots leaves a subtle color, I added more for a more obvious glow; (matte) leaves a more opaque tint so I only use max of three. Blends like a dream.
✨ As a liptint, I advise to layer only up to two otherwise, it will emphasize the lines on your lips or better yet, exfoliate prior!
✨ It lasts only for a few hours especially when you eat or drink, so retouching is a must. It also transfers, so make sure the product has perfectly dried before doing anything to disturb the formulation. When using a tissue or blotting paper, dab and don't swipe.
✨ Shake it up real good as the tint settles below overtime.

Overall, 4/5 -- I opt to use these as a cheek tint as it looks way more natural than any other blushes I've tried. For the lips, I prefer to use it under other water tints for a longer staying power.

Have you tried these? What are your favorite shades? How about @colourette.cosmetics' contourtints or shimmertints? Share away your thoughts! 😘
